The edge of the piece is framed with a bamboo design and is flooded with fine hard fired enamel.

This piece has the scientific species name engraved on the back along with the common name. It is 3/4 inch long and 1/2 inch tall. The chain is a durable cable chain that is 16 inches long with a 2 inch extender so that it can be worn at 18 inches.
